Any git users on here

I am using windows 10 and have installed git and also using Windows Power Shell.

I have a repository on github

I would like to know if there is away to be able to create a branch where it has it's own repo with different files.

Currently when ever I create a branch it copies the stuff from master. I am only wanting the sub branches to have for github pages.

Any ideas?
