Config file loading more than once

Using CI 2.0.2, if I put a log message in config.php, whenever I load a page for the first time, I can see it loads the config many times (different amount of times depending on the page). A reload hits it only once. But if I close the tab and reopen it, it hits it several times again.

Is this normal? Is this a problem?
